Nail Techs - Getting Rid Of Infections - Nail Art Pictures

Salons should follow proper safety protocols to eliminate the chances of passing along infections to customers who receive manicure and pedicure services. Holding on to these protocols will, not only help you keep your current client base but also serve as a good basis for referrals of new ones.
First of all, make sure all areas of the salon in which you work in, is clean. Before for you start the whole process of giving a manicure or pedicure to the customer, you should wash your hands and ask the customer to wash their hands. Then check your customers hand and feet for any signs of infection or any other health condition. After doing that you should make sure that all tools are disinfected prior and after the use of them. Every customer should receive a clean towel. The customer should notice you are giving him or her the clean towel. At the end make sure that any tools that cannot be disinfected are properly disposed of. The client should also see this also. Last of all make sure that your Nail Tech license is displayed in a place where the customer could see it.
A lot of people change their nail technician often due to the lack of cleanliness or because they feel that the nail technician has not paid enough attention to the whole process of disinfection. If these protocols are followed, the chances of spreading infection to the customers decreases substantially and their is a higher chance of keeping you clients and receiving new ones.
